Applepicker version 1.5 is on the way!
Huge thanks to everyone who played, rated and gave feedback on the game. Many of you had some awesome suggestions and seemed to like the idea of an update. The feedback so far has been really positive and I want to make the game even more enjoyable. This update is a minor update but includes some pretty major changes.
The major changes to the game in this update are the following:
- Increased difficulty: many people have mentioned the fact that the game was too easy and I completely agree. I didn't want to push myself the first time and I only included one objective. In this new update, trees will be further spread out and as well as some other new game mechanics such as rotting trees.
- Player collision glitch: there was a bug that came to my attention where when the player collides with the edge of the path, the player jitters and the camera shakes rapidly. This bug is a pretty simple fix and will be fixed in version 2 as well as no more invisible circle colliders around the trees that you push against, this time you can enter the radius rather than pushing against it.
- New challenges: This for now is mostly a secret and you will have to wait until release. Just know that spamming the "E" key will not benefit you as much anymore ;)
I hope you all enjoy the next update when it is finished! I do not have a scheduled release date as I have school and I don't know how that will impact development but I will work as much as I can on it.
